David has a holistic and integrative approach built on the foundations of over 20 years experience and advanced training in AK (Applied Kinesiology in Chiropractic), Psych-K (Cranio-Visceral technique) and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). It incorporates the gentle art and techniques of muscle monitoring to access information about a person’s wellbeing.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology is based on the principle that the body has an innate, healing intelligence focused on maintaining balance and harmony. A person’s natural balance can be affected by many factors such as trauma (physical or emotional), work or relationship stress, a lack of purpose or direction, and even dietary issues. Combining the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine (muscle/meridian relationship), western knowledge and energetic healing arts, Kinesiology helps identify and release imbalances, or blockages to help restore balance.

Applied Kinesiology & Muscle Testing

Muscle testing

David uses muscle testing (aka muscle feedback) to identify and help release emotional, physical or energetic imbalances or blockages within the body. This technique bypasses the conscious mind to access deeper aspects of a person’s wellbeing. The process involves applying gentle pressure to a limb (such as your arm or leg), and challenging muscle tone and memory against a physical or emotional issue.

A muscle’s resistance (or lack of resistance) to this gentle pressure, also known as bio-feedback, can be indicative of imbalances or blockages in the body. The same procedure is then used to find corrections and bring the body back to its natural state of harmony.
